LOOK! We have a brand new door name plaque for kids.

We have created a brand new design – Pretty In Pink. Polymer clay was used to craft the letters, which look great in pink and white stripes. Polymer clay was also used to make the quirky over sized buttons which look as though they have been stitched on and give the door name plaque a fairytale quality. Little Bumpkins bedroom door signs have been lovingly handmade in the UK. We have recently added a double name plaque for kids sharing a room. Any two childrens bedroom door signdesigns of sign can be attached together. For more info email us at: info@littlebumpkins.co.uk

Personalised Gifts – Door Name Plaques

I decided to design some new door name plaques. After testing many different colour combinations, I have come up with a couple of designs that I am really pleased with. Firstly a plain white painted wooden plaque, which I distressed a little around the edges. For the lettering I chose a pallet of red, white and blues, making some letters striped using polymer clay (‘millefiori’ technique). It has a cool, nautical feel- which I really like. Using one of the stamps that I made for my button jewellery, I have made sweet little polymer clay buttons to embellish the design, and have chosen a red and white gingham ribbon to hang the plaque. The second design has a delicate pastel colour combination. Once I had finished my plaques I decided to antique them. The results were really very pleasing. I am going to add both the antiqued plaques, and the fresh white ones to my site as they both look good. I will add these plaques to the personalised gifts area.
