I have just added this beautiful Vintage Style Denim Union Jack Cushion to our childrens gifts section—14 inches x 14 inches.

This hand made union jack cushion has individualy pressed strips of cotton to give a wonderful 3D effect. A time consuming process, but the end results are stunning. The cushions are made from denim & 100% cotton. The reverse of the cover is an envelope close. The inner conforms to the requirements of the Furniture & Furnishings Regulations 1988.

Unique Bridesmaid Jewellery

I am in the process of designing and making a range of childrens jewellery using a neutral colour pallet; Ivory, white, apricot, pale pinks, creams etc. I have used buttons and also natural materials such as leather, pearls, shells, wood, seeds, ribbon etc. I have included a photograph of the piece of jewellery that I am working on at the moment, it has a coastal wedding theme. I think that this type of jewellery would be make a really unique present for bridesmaids or flower girls.

Personalised Gifts – Door Name Plaques

I decided to design some new door name plaques. After testing many different colour combinations, I have come up with a couple of designs that I am really pleased with. Firstly a plain white painted wooden plaque, which I distressed a little around the edges. For the lettering I chose a pallet of red, white and blues, making some letters striped using polymer clay (‘millefiori’ technique). It has a cool, nautical feel- which I really like. Using one of the stamps that I made for my button jewellery, I have made sweet little polymer clay buttons to embellish the design, and have chosen a red and white gingham ribbon to hang the plaque. The second design has a delicate pastel colour combination. Once I had finished my plaques I decided to antique them. The results were really very pleasing. I am going to add both the antiqued plaques, and the fresh white ones to my site as they both look good. I will add these plaques to the personalised gifts area.
